The Rustic Pathways Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all of its initiatives are funded through the donations and support of generous individual and corporate sponsors.  All donations are tax deductible.

100% of Donations Go Directly to Our Projects
All of our operating and administrative expenses are financed by Rustic Pathways, which means that 100% of all donations go directly towards our initiatives to increase opportunities for deserving students and communities both in the United States and abroad.

Please note that a small transaction fee (approximately 1.9%-2.2% + $.30USD) will go to Pay Pal to cover credit card processing. The remainder of your donation is tax deductible and will go in it’s entirety to Foundation projects.

Have an idea for a project?
In addition to the on-going projects of the Foundation, we accept proposals from donors for projects they are interested in funding. Projects must have a demonstrated need, strong community support, and be financially feasible and reasonably manageable by the Rustic Pathways Foundation team.

Often, Rustic Pathways alumni propose projects that they have identified while travelling oversees. Past donor initiated projects have included providing funding for a new roof for a school in Tanzania, purchasing computers  for Burmeese refugee students in northern Thailand and a photocopier for a rural school in Costa Rica, supporting the installation of new water pipes in a rural Thai village, and much more.

To propose a project to the Foundation, you must complete and submit a Donor-Initiated Project Proposal Form (click here to download). All projects are subject to approval by the Rustic Pathways Board of Directors and require the support of a Rustic Pathway Manager or Director for implementation.
